
About the Artist
Jordan McKnight, also known as Jeaux, was born in Philadelphia, PA and began her dance training at 4 years old. Though she started with the West African training, she began to study modern, jazz, ballet, and hip hop by 12. She attended and graduated from the Philadelphia High School for Creative and Performing Arts in 2015, while under the direction of LaDeva Davis, and has worked with notable dance professionals like Shawn-Lamere Williams, Wayne St David, Molly Misgalla and Robert Burden Sr. While enrolled, she participated in the 6abc Thanksgiving Day Parade and the National Cherry Blossom Parade. Jordan is a recent graduate of Howard University and received her BFA in Dance Arts. Throughout her years attending Howard, she has worked with Pat Thomas, Royce Zackery, Kathy Smith, Hinton Battle, Edward Franklin and Assane Konte. Her liberal arts education has given her a well-rounded artistic education including stage management, stage makeup, costume design and choreography. Jordan also served as the Student Financial Advisor for Howard University's Dance Arts Student Council.
Currently, Jordan is instructing Jazz and Heels classes throughout the greater Philadelphia area.
